Beginning Theatre Tap and Advanced Beginning Theatre Tap at ODC in SF

In addition to these workshops, I teach a drop-in Beginning Theatre Tap Combos class every Monday 8:15-9:15pm at ODC.

This class geared toward beginning tap dancers who have learned basic tap vocabulary and want to build upon the fundamental tap skills taught in the workshop. Dancers will practice essential tap steps in a variety of rhythmic patterns, including timesteps, riff walks, turns, cramp rolls and many more. Class starts with recurring warm ups that highlight technique and coordination, followed by rhythmic patterns and fundamental tap vocabulary practiced in repetition. Dancers then learn a choreographed routine that explores more intricate movement and musicality in the style of classic Broadway.
